Movie Review: Boothnath - nice one and touching

I am writing this because i can not stop myself. This movie actually i though will be a children's movie. Yes it is a children's movie but it also conveys a nice message to all of us.

The story is around one house in goa, called 'Nath Villa', which is taken on rent by shahrukh and for his family who is a engineer on cruise ship. The people living there says that there is a ghost in the house, but shahrukh's wife (Juhi chavla) don't believe it. They have a small child who is a storm of mischief!

All settled down, but one day the child found someone (Amitabh Bacchan who is ghost) in the house at night. but he don't know what fear is, and so as what ghost is. He makes friendship with the ghost in his innocence. Also the ghost (amitabh bacchan) begin to like him and decided to not harassing them. One day the ghost tells his story, how his family is destroyed because of a small decision of his son who wants to settle down in abroad.

It is very touching story in the second half. The ghost talks about family relations and values, tells us to stay together with our family.

Nice story, nice flow. You must watch it once.

The season of remakes...

Since last 2 years, it seems there is no great ideas with bollywood now. Expect some of them all movies are just average.And then some of them started making remakes (Of hindi ofcourse, because English remakes they are making since last 40 years! :) ).

we will discuss about the following ones

1.Don
2.Sholay
3.Umraav jaan
4.Karz
5.Padosan


First big remake was DON.
In Farhan Akhtar (Son of javed akhatar - write of old don. People says thats why he got the rights from chandra barot - director of old don)Shahrukh khan has tried to act the role of Don, which was played by Amithabh bacchan in old Don।They hope that it will be a biggest hit of that year।But people are not fool here!Because the story,songs,names of the characters are same! and of course there will be some comparison between old and new.It was not a flop but not a big hit also. People didn't liked it.(Specially the dialog by shahrukh 'Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahi, namumkin hai.Don ka intejar to 11 mulko ki pulice kar rahi hai'' डॉन को पकड़ना मुश्कील ही नही, नामुमकीन है.डॉन का इंतज़ार तो ग्यारह मुल्कों की पूलीस कर रही है.).

Old : director-chandra barot ,casts:amitabh bacchan,zinnat aman,iptekhar.
New : director-farhan akhatar, casts:Shahrukh khan,priyanka chopra,boman irani.

Second and biggest one is Sholay
Sholay is a trademark of bollywood.No one can make sholay, it just has been done itself!See all the characters of that film.You can't forget jay-veeru,thakur and gabbar. All of them are strong themselves.The music was also good.
But, Ram gopal verma (A fool director who think himself the boss and try to fool us!he thinks that whatever he will make people will accept.but thats not possible.) has decided to remake sholay. And he tried for some rights also. The name decided was 'Ram Gopal Verma ke Sholay'. But due to some legal problems, the name is 'Ram Gopal verma ki Aag' (or 'Ram Gopal verma ko aag'? :) ). And ya the film was like a fire on you. I mean its a waste of time and money.
No story or characters has been changed. Only some differences in names.Amitabh bacchan played babban(gabbar).jay'r role has been done by some new comer (i really don't know) and veeru's role by Ajay Devgan (worst acting here by ajay :( )
Music is also average.Urmila has done item number but it can't fool people.Nisha kothari played basanti (but she is like a item dancer as seen in the promos. Of course i can't dare to see this film!)

Third one very boring Umraav jaan
Aishwarya and abhishek's 'Umraav jaan' made by J.P.Datta. The film was very boring.Songs are ok,costumes and cinematography was good but story line was same. Aishwarya has done average but people didn't like it. It also received very lower ratings.leave it here...

Next coming remakes
1) Karz
new one will be made by Gulshan kumar (T-Series).
Himesh reshammiya will play rishi kapoor. Music also by himself.

old one was by Subhash Ghai and every one knows about it.It was a super hit movie.

2)Padosan
new one, casts:sanjay dutt = kishore kumar,ritesh deshmukh = sunil dutt...
old one, casts:sunil dutt,kishor kumar,sayra banu

i think its a season of remakes।Everyone just thinking about old hits.lets see how many remakeses will come? :)

Bachhans are at their highest?

Is bachhan family at their highest stage? What you think?

Amitabh Bachhan is already a super duper star since last 30 years. Abhishek bachhan is doing good since last 3 years, though his time was not so good in beginning. Aishwarya is higher since her entrance in cinema after she got the miss world title. And also the whole bollywood respects amitabh because of his humblenesses and simplicity.

But in Abhishek's marriage, he has done a big mistake according to many of his best friends!He even not invited them! And the funny excuse he said is "I know may people and if i invite all of them then how do i manage that?I can't treat them with VIP facilities." People said that anyone can understand this kind of situation when he is in some big function having a big crowd there. They don't expect VIP facilities. They expected respect. They said if he believes in relationships then he must invite.He only given them some gifts after the marriage. Some of them returned the gifts and some accepted it ( who want him anyway to be with them).

In return they said that in dilip kumar's wedding, who was a super star when he got maried with sayra banu, every one,even a small workers who knows him, is invited. And all of them enjoyed without any hesitation and expecting VIP services! They all even enjoyed in a big crowd!(much bigger then abhisheks' marriage:) ).

Its a matter of relationship. Its a matter of trust. Its a matter of someone's presence for blessings or greetings. Its a thing that you are happy if they be with you when you are having a biggest day of your life.

After his marriage, I don't think abhishek is doing well ( I heard something like that who ever fallen with Aishwarya, has fallen from hi life and status also!Don't you remember what happened to salman and vivek? :) .

And also total bollywood is against them. list is Salman khan, vivek oberoy (both have been friends now and vivke has apologized to salman on TV show stage also!),Shahrukh khan(he is also now being good with salman who is big rival since last 10 years after they have done karan- arjun of rakesh roshan!),saif ali khan,aamir khan(he is against everyone :) ),rani mukerji(everyone knows why, because may be she want abhishek :) ) and many more...The list gonna long and long.All these people are best at their position.

There are many who are with bacchans,but i think they are because of popularity.

After his marriage, Amitabh got problems of land in maharashtra as he became farmer after buying some land. Also mayavati has created hurdles for him in uttar pradesh. Amar singh (who is know as amitji's small brother) and amitabh had some problems during these things also.

Lets see what happens next...
